Hello

I am a Bengaluru-based photojournalist with over 34 years of experience in the field of photo journalism. Over the decades, I have worked with some of India’s most respected publications, including The Hindu, Sports Star, Frontline, Business Line, Indian Express, Kannada Prabha, Andhra Prabha, and Udayavani.

 

My lens has travelled across the length and breadth of India, capturing powerful moments across diverse beats - politics, social issues, sports, culture, entertainment, and beyond.

My work has been recognised with several national and international honours, including awards from Best photographer awards by 'Better Photography magazine' for different categories, Youth Photography Association awards for national and international photography contest, and the Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association. I have also been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Press Club of Bengaluru for my contribution to photojournalism.

Beyond photography, I have a deep interest in music, theatre, and cinema - art forms that continue to inspire my visual storytelling.
